How we treat each other on Mekora

1. Be respectful

• Speak to people the way you'd want to be spoken to.
• Disagreement is fine; contempt, insults and pressure are not.
• If someone isn't interested, accept it and move on gracefully.

2. Keep your profile honest

• Use recent photos that clearly show you.
• Be truthful about your age, intentions and situation.
• Don't use someone else's photos, name or identity.

3. Consent and personal boundaries

• Ask before sending intimate or suggestive content — unsolicited sexual content is never allowed.
• Respect a no the first time.
• Never share someone's private information, photos or messages without their permission.

4. Not allowed on Mekora

• Harassment, stalking, threats or intimidation.
• Hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation.
• Scams, financial requests, fraud, spam or promotional solicitation.
• Impersonation, catfishing or fake accounts.
• Sexual exploitation, sexual services, trafficking or any sexual content involving minors.
• Violence, self-harm encouragement, or illegal activity of any kind.

5. Adults only — 18 and over

Mekora is strictly for people aged 18 and over. Accounts belonging to minors are removed immediately, and any content involving a minor is reported to the appropriate authorities.

6. Report unsafe behaviour

Use the report option on any profile or conversation, and contact us through our support page if you need more help. Reporting is confidential — the other person is not told who reported them.

7. What happens if the rules are broken

Depending on severity and history, we may remove content, limit features, suspend an account, or permanently remove someone from Mekora. Serious cases may be referred to law enforcement.
